Portrait Series - Young, Fry & Wilde - Limited Edition Print
Portrait Series - Young, Fry & Wilde - Limited Edition Print
As many of you know, Stephen Fry is one of Britain’s most loved comedians. He is also a successful stage and screen actor, an accomplished director, a hugely engaging presenter, and a best-selling writer.
As well as all of the above, he is the President of Mind Charity. It is publicly known that he lives with Bipolar disorder and has done so for most of his life. Living a life of episodes that go from extreme highs to extreme lows. He has been a pillar of support to so many, especially during Covid-19.
I wanted to challenge myself with this Portrait. Through researching his life, I began to understand everything was not black or white. Living in two minds or two heads. I wanted to express this message in this piece. I also began to understand his love and admiration for the wonderful Oscar Wilde. Looking at images of Oscar Wilde I could see the uncanny resemblance between them both! So why not bring them together!!
This is a different take on my Curiosity Snug® hidden gems interaction, this time I ask the question...
Which face jumps out at you first, Stephen Fry & Oscar Wilde?
What can you see?
