This illustration was produced to mark the end of the official CLAP for the NHS and the Key workers. The 8 pm CLAP every Thursday took place for the first 10 weeks of the COVID-19 lockdown. During this time the incredible 100-year-old, Second World War veteran and newly knighted Captain Sir Thomas Moore was a much-needed highlight of hope, strength, and determination. Raising almost £33 million for the NHS.

What an inspiration to all of us. It doesn’t matter what age you are. You can make a difference. It’s all about the mindset. His motto: ‘Tomorrow will be a good day’ was and still is the perfect positive reinforcement to help lift the spirits during these difficult times.
